The zip enclosure runs most of the way across the opening, with a small protective closed section at each end. A protective flap sits under the zip to prevent dust mites or allergen from getting through, and another on top so there are no uncomfortable lumps to sleep on.

MiteGuard tri-pillow protectors are designed to fit most standard triangular or V-shaped pillow sizes, with a little extra room built in for ease of use and shrinkage.
