We recommend a MiteGuard tri-pillow protector as an important barrier bedding item for anyone with dust mite allergies. Given how close your pillow sits to your nose, mouth and eyes while you sleep, reducing your exposure to dust mites and allergen particles can make a real difference to both your allergy symptoms and the quality of your sleep.

If you use a tri-pillow for support, the simple act of adjusting your position or "plumping" the cushion to get comfortable can release allergen particles into the air around you. A MiteGuard tri-pillow protector stops that from happening, so you can relax and breathe easy.

Our protectors are made from 3.5 micron natural cotton micro-weave fabric, making them effective, breathable, durable and comfortable to sleep on. The zip enclosure runs most of the way across the opening, with a small protective closed section at each end. A protective flap sits under the zip to prevent dust mites or allergen from getting through, and another on top so there are no uncomfortable lumps to sleep on.

MiteGuard tri-pillow protectors are designed to fit most standard triangular or V-shaped pillow sizes, with a little extra room built in for ease of use and shrinkage.

Features:

  • 3.5 micron barrier cotton fabric
  • Quality zips with protective flaps
  • 5 year guarantee
  • Made by Kiwis for everyone

Product Care

Wash your MiteGuard® Covers in hot water (60°C) every 3 months. We recommend doing a hot wash every time the seasons change.

In the meantime, you can vacuum your covers, or wipe them with a damp cloth between washes to keep allergen levels down.
