MiteGuard Cotton Mattress Cover

MiteGuard’s allergen barrier mattress cover provides relief for dust mite allergy sufferers who may be struggling with their asthma, rhinitis (runny nose/cough) or eczema.  The mattress is one of the key stores of dust mites and dust mite faeces in your bedroom.  Reducing your exposure to the allergen on a nightly basis  can allow your immune system some respite - letting you manage your health better. 

Made in New Zealand from 100% cotton precision micro-weave fabric, this mattress protector is scientifically proven to reduce allergy symptoms triggered by dust mite allergen.  

The Dust Mite Cover's fully-enclosed design prevents allergen from escaping from the mattress. It has an internal flap system to further reduce the risk of allergen transmission through the zip.  The quality YKK zip itself, extends halfway around the cover so you can easily insert your mattress into the cover and zip it up.

The fabric is called ‘microweave’ because the gaps in the weave have been reduced to only 3.5 microns - small enough to prevent the transmission of dust mite allergens in the bed through the cover to the sleeper.     

We have chosen this advanced cotton fabric because it is functional, as well as breathable, durable and comfortable to sleep on.
