This Super King Mattress cover is 400mm (40cm)  deep, and will comfortably cover a range of mattress depths between 35 - 40cm.  There is only 1!

It was made for a NZ SUPER KING (Australian King) mattress/bed with these dimensions:

2030mm (L) x 1830mm (W) x 400mm (D). 

If you use this cover for a bed less than 400mm deep, you will need to tuck any spare fabric under the mattress or sheet.  For beds 260-340 deep please see our size guide or  deep mattress covers.

This highly-effective Dust Mite mattress barrier cover is made from natural cotton micro-weave fabric and fully encases your Mattress for superior allergy protection.  This mattress cover is breathable cotton and is not waterproof.

The Dust Mite Cover's fully-enclosed design prevents allergen from escaping from the mattress.  It has an internal flap system to completely reduce the risk of allergen transmission through the zip.  The quality YKK zip goes halfway around the cover so you can more easily insert your mattress into the cover and zip it up. 

The fabric is called ‘microweave’ because the gaps in the weave have been reduced to only 3.5 -small enough to prevent the transmission of dust mite allergens in the bed through the cover to the sleeper.  Pressure testing with live allergen shows our mattress cover construction blocks >99.9 % dust mite allergen and cat dander. The weave is also too tight for bed bugs.  This barrier is much more effective than normal sheets.

Product Care

Wash your MiteGuard® Covers in hot water (60°C) every 3 months. We recommend doing a hot wash every time the seasons change.  

In the meantime, you can vacuum your covers, or wipe them with a damp cloth between washes to keep allergen levels down.
