MiteGuard’s cotton duvet cover fully encases your duvet inner to provide superior protection against dust mites. Made in New Zealand from 100% natural microweave fabric, the duvet protector is scientifically proven to reduce allergy symptoms triggered by dust mite allergen

A zip is used to close the duvet cover and both sides of the zip are covered by a protective flap, ensuring no dust mite allergen will escape and that the zip will be comfortable to sleep on.  You put your normal duvet cover over the top of the MiteGuard duvet protector.

The natural cotton is breathable – allowing 86% of the air-flow that passes through a standard poly/cotton sheet to pass through the duvet cover fabric.

The gaps in the fabric weave are only 3.5 microns- tight enough to prevent the transmission of dust mite allergens to below detectable levels, and give the sleeper a peaceful, comfortable sleep.

**Please note: The Double and King single size have recently merged, as manufacturers standardise the sizing.  For more info please see FAQs, or if you have a different measurement for your King single or Double duvet,  please contact us.

Product Care

Product Care

Wash your MiteGuard® Covers in hot water (60°C) every 3 months. We recommend doing a hot wash every time the seasons change.

In the meantime, you can vacuum your covers, or wipe them with a damp cloth between washes to keep allergen levels down.
